Description

Discuss overlooked research showing a connection between lead and mercury to adverse pregnancy outcomes/infant health. Includes national data and NJDOH Biomonitoring Project data of pregnant persons tested for six years at the University Hospital in Newark NJ. Discussion of new NJ legislation that will require certain pregnant persons be tested for lead during pregnancy and DOH`s expansion of its Biomonitoring project to provide universal prenatal screening for lead and mercury.
