Description
Human Trafficking is a crime of exploitation; traffickers profit at the expense of their victims by compelling them to perform labor or to engage in commercial sex, around the world and in every region of the United States including New Jersey. And it is a multibillion-dollar criminal enterprise. New Jersey has been described as a prime location for this heinous activity. This training will provide attendees with -- an overview of human trafficking; a basic understanding of the New Jersey human trafficking law; vulnerability factors and how anyone can become a victim of human trafficking; and possible indicators of human trafficking, and what to do if you believe you have identified human trafficking activity.
